Yulia Gorbunova: Periodic Table of Mendeleev – the universal language of science
All over the world, the Periodic Table is associated with the name of D.I. Mendeleev, which is recognition of a phenomenal discovery that has become the common language of all natural sciences, and that is why scientists of different specialties - chemists, physicists, astronomers, geologists, physicians, biologists and geographers - consider this table their own. The periodic table today stands at the center of the economy, without it material production is unthinkable. Electronic gadgets, solar panels, smart clothes, environmentally friendly fuel for cars, medicines and medical diagnostics are created by chemists using knowledge about the elements.
